V for Vendetta: God is in the Rain. Aaron: Love is in the Rain

A quote from V for Vendetta wrote "God is in the Rain." Today, as i skittered crazily to the library on foot while the sky tore open and let loose torrents of rain, i could say i feel differently. Aside from the fact my clothes were soaked and my short hair was matted to my head. I felt i could stand in the rain for hours.

Thank god for the wet park being remote.

In an open field. I closed my eyes and felt the world in a perception beyond the normal. The feeling was....amazing. The feeling of the chilling wind, like the breath of another surrounding me. As the rain lightly touched my quivering skin, the droplets whispered songs in my ears, accompanied by the quiet patter of the rain around me. As the droplets intensified, they began to slip off my skin, emulated the caress of loving fingers. I breathed out quietly. My shirt began to soak. The air, cool and clean, whirled crazily around me, raising goosebumps on my skin. For just an instant, in that world of mine, i was raised up to the heavens. The ground felt of nothing and i heard nothing. Its amazing what an imagination can do.

I would have stood there for hours. But the cruel reality brought me back with a stunning earthquake. Not really. Handphone buzzed. As i opened my eyes back the torrents of water falling from the sky, i sighed, and walked on.

Love is in the rain. It only asks to be found, and only those who seek it, find it.
